For the football fans - we played the worst first 58 minutes I have seen in years. But were still in the game because our defense gave up little or nothing. We scored a late TD and had the chance to recover an on side kick (which failed) and the game ended up as a 10-7 loss. We were not grossly outplayed but we shot ourselves in the foot several times on offense taking penalties when we had a good offensive play or made a first down. And we had a field goal attempt blocked. So far it appears we have little or no offense and a very decent defense which we may need later this season as it appears Union knows how to score!Take the shortest distance to the puck and arrive in ill humorComment

For the football fans - if there still some left after this past week. RPI is listed as an early 18.5 point favorite over Worcester Tech. Not exactly sure why as it is not at all clear that our offense can even score 18+ points. Hopefully the coaches will find away for us to get points on the board soon as Hobart, Ithaca and Union await later in the season and all of those teams have demonstrated that they can indeed score!Take the shortest distance to the puck and arrive in ill humorComment
