I see the guess the Atlantic Hockey standings contest is open. If we beat Army and Canisius in the coming week we should be in first place. Can we enter?

Back in the dark ages OT was 10 minutes of 5x5. If, after all that, the game ends in a tie then it was two equal teams for the night and an appropriate result. What's wrong with a team having a couple of ties per year?

Back in my dark ages, regular season games did not have overtime at all. A tie was a tie, and some of the greatest games I ever saw ended in ties and everyone went home happy, and went home early.

I assume by that you mean the dark ages of pro hockey. As well as I recall, college hockey has had some type of OT at least since the 1960's.

Last nights game was as good a hockey game as I have seen in a long time. By both teams. Great goaltending, hard skating, good, but not excessive, physicality, and plenty of scoring chances on both sides. From the earlier games RPI played, they are growing as a team with each game. Smith has them playing a full 60 minutes and they are playing well at both ends of the ice. Be nice to see them score some goals, but as long as they play like they did last night, not much to criticize or complain about. The one thing is we will see tonight if they are spent after last night and banged up. I think if they can play a good game tonight, the concerns about what this team can do will be greatly diminished. I would, though, give Watson the night off. Not sure what happened to him early in the game, but letting a back up goalie see some action especially against a NC opponent would be wise.

Sez we will get back to 3000s for attendance might take till mid season who knows but the 2+ years of ridiculously stupid policies by Shirley Jackson definitely ****ed some fans off. Shirley was the worst thing that could ever happen to the program. She was absolutely awful lol
