Well done, sezenack. 8 for 8. Too bad that Babich has to wait another year. Hopefully he won’t go somewhere else.

Their roster of almost top to bottom draft picks will probably continue a tradition of finishing the league in the 2-4 range while losing in the opening round of the Beanpot and NCAA tournament. I will admit it's not completely his fault as his team of stars tends to be young. As with most teams bringing in highly-ranked recruits the Harvard frosh tend to be 18 or 19, while for many clubs, including ours, they are 19-21 with 20 being a sweet spot. Patrick Koudys' initial step on the HFH ice as a 17 year old being a notable exception. If we can come together and get on a roll heading into the playoffs I think we can give Harvard a run for their money. I'm confident we would have beaten them in 2020 and we went down to the wire with them in 2022.

Edit: Apologies. This is probably the wrong thread for the above.
No worries, its the off-season there aren't any rules !! ha ha....Hell, the school can't even update team rosters !!

Yeah and both are elite. Especially gallant.

New West Kelowna players including Kyrkostas. https://bchl.ca/next-generation-west-kelowna-warriors

    Ferguson’s scouting report:

“He’s an elite passer and skater. He can play in all situations. We expect him to drive offence.”

Yes that is correct. NHL CSB posts their first list in October

It's my dream for returning RPI to where we should be in the college hockey hierarchy.
They are both 5'10" which is not considered big enough for the NHL unless they are exceptionally talented.

The transfer portal is permanent. This rising senior class is the last one that can take advantage of a COVID bonus year so the number of grad transfers may decline, but, in general, increased movement is with us to stay.

I also hope and believe that our coaches can sell the value of an RPI education to players that actually want it. Kyrkostas and Shaw look like excellent prospects and I'm very happy that they are planning to play in Troy. I also believe RPI and the ECAC are worthy of such players and that our staff/league can develop them into future pros while our school develops their business or technical skills. Of course there will be a top tier of pro prospects (draftees at 18, potential one and done guys, national development team players, etc.) that are destined for the big boys, but potential mid-to-late round 19 and 20 year old picks and future free agent signees shouldn't be out of reach for the ECAC or RPI.
