    Ferguson’s scouting report:

“He’s an elite passer and skater. He can play in all situations. We expect him to drive offence.”

Harvard does well recruiting everywhere. They just landed two from Nobles - their keeper Bernstein and forward Gallant.

Yeah and both are elite. Especially gallant.

I don't tend to worry too much about Harvard as Donato has shown he can accomplish less (particularly in the Beanpot) with more talent than virtually any other coach that's been around nearly 20 years. Their roster of almost top to bottom draft picks will probably continue a tradition of finishing the league in the 2-4 range while losing in the opening round of the Beanpot and NCAA tournament. I will admit it's not completely his fault as his team of stars tends to be young. As with most teams bringing in highly-ranked recruits the Harvard frosh tend to be 18 or 19, while for many clubs, including ours, they are 19-21 with 20 being a sweet spot. Patrick Koudys' initial step on the HFH ice as a 17 year old being a notable exception. If we can come together and get on a roll heading into the playoffs I think we can give Harvard a run for their money. I'm confident we would have beaten them in 2020 and we went down to the wire with them in 2022.

Edit: Apologies. This is probably the wrong thread for the above.

Well done, sezenack. 8 for 8. Too bad that Babich has to wait another year. Hopefully he won’t go somewhere else.
