Nne of our recruits were drafted in the USHL Phase 1 draft, mainly due to the fact that this draft is only for players born in 2007. The Phase 2 draft will be today. On Tuesday, the Salmon Arm Silverbacks lost to the Penticton Vees 3-2 in overtime. They trail in the best-of-7 playoff series 3-0. Mathieu Bourgault had a roughing penalty. Dovar Tinling had no points or penalties. https://bchl.ca/stats/game-center/11989

Bourgault's playoff line is now 12-2-2-4-2.
His total is now 25-2-4-5-12.

I'll be curious if anyone gets picked in Phase 2. I expect Ziliotto will. Outside of him, it's tough to know because it's not hard to see a team taking a flier on any of our BCHL/AJHL players and trying to convince them to come. Adrian, Caron, Kyrkostas, and Sanborn would be the main candidates for that. I doubt that happens with that many of them though

Impressive. I wonder if he gets taken in the upcoming draft? Maybe a late round pick. Muzzatti should be picked.

Certainly possible in both cases, but neither was listed in the NHL CSB final list. We do need someone to be taken because it will help in recruiting,

Zero clue why Ziliotto wasn't taken in USHL draft. Must have a place already lined up. Praying that he's not staying in Mississauga. They had 6 wins in 54 games, and around a -200 goal differential. He led the team with 62 points. 2nd highest was 40 points, 3rd highest was only 23!!! Worst team I've ever seen one of our recruits play for; he NEEDS to leave.

Another crazy stat. He had points on over 50% of their goals. 62/117 = 52.99%

Actually it was 61/117. He must have had an assist taken away after the season ended.
