Nice of the writers here to give Cornell and missing Shaf a little love. While it leaves a hole in the locker room, what about missing Max, Cody, and Ben this past Saturday? These guys are studs and we need them back for the stretch run. Does anyone have any intel on getting them back? Maybe late season magic if and when Coach comes back? What a strange 3 year period for the program....

On USCHO.com this morning there is an article about (suggesting) the Ivy break off as an 8 team league and creating some other league in the east....with the AHA and ECAC merging or some other crap. The idea is a knee jerk to a down year for many Ivies....holding QU back from higher Pairwise/ranking/respect. I have a better idea. BOOT QU and the Bobcats to Hockey East and bring RIT into the ECAC. RIT is FAR better aligned to how the ECAC was built, long before QU invest zillions into their program and building. Lets them go to battle with the Boston schools...I'd take UVM too.
Thoughts???

Go to ECAC hockey history. The ECAC used to include the teams from Hockey East until 1984 when they broke off. There were then somewhere around eighteen teams in the ECAC, three divisons, one division was just the Ivies. From the early sixties to 1984 you will be surprised about how many colleges had "ECAC" teams. Nescac D3 teams, Hamilton College, Bowdoin etc. MIT had a team, Army, Penn. Check it out !It all starts with the goaltending.
