I know AIC was only an exhibition last weekend but that was a good start against a solid program.

Not the star power of previous years but there is no reason this can't be a tournament team. A lot of good players.

QU has given BC trouble over the years. I think BC might be 0-3-1 all time against them. Something like that. Game is on NESN+. Should be a good one.

I live in NYC, logged into the Internet radio and no announcers so far. Just a History Channel promo from Morgan Freeman.

2-0 BC. Nesterenko and AMbrosio look great ,big stronger and more confident. Posma out 5 minute major. Dop looks solid but QU is missing the net on a lot of shots.

Yes and no. Goes in books as a tie. Disappointing to not hang on to 2-0 lead but QU was probably deserving of the tie. Very good start for Eric Dop.

Key sequence was a missed breakaway that would have made it 3-0. Then Warren hit post on breakaway at end of regulation. Need a win tonight and they'll feel good about the weekend.

Will be an interesting year. I worry if they can score enough, don’t have the forward depth they’ve had the past 2 years. Defense should be better with more experience and the additions of Wells and Hreschuk. Really intrigued by Alami, he was a big riser last year and is absolutely massive

also, shout-out to New Balance. New uniforms look awesome

What a start last night. Game was over before you could sit down. Wilder got the start.

Quinnipiac had no problem with Northeastern so BC won the tournament. Home opener Friday against NU and then a rare case where you play a rested team the next night as Bentley is not playing on Friday.

The color looked off to me on the away uniforms. I was thinking the other day how much better the uniforms for all the big four teams looked 20 years ago. The ones they wear today look a lot cheaper than they used to. I’m sure they’re more comfortable or something but definitely don’t look as good.

Interesting game. BC simply overwhelmed HC at the start. Then it settled in and the game really seemed like an even game for a long while and then it seemed like another strong surge from BC to finish it off.

Holy Cross wasn’t all that terrible actually. They got cheap at times; 39 was a clown and the guy that got the major and tossed deserved it as I believe he saw the bench door open and took the cheap shot on purpose IMO. I will say their bench going nuts for simple shot blocks and the rare big hit was over the top and I was mostly embarrassed for them with that.

Marshall Warren was tremendous this weekend; very involved and dynamic offensive rushes and moves from the point. His Friday rush to hit the post was incredible and would have been highlight reel if it went in.

No real goaltending qualms. Although I thought Dop looked to be slightly more comfortable and in command of the crease but two good options back there.

Alami is huge and Wells adds some nice size as well. McLaughlin is McLaughlin and though not flashy one of the better guys to ever wear the BC sweater (tough to figure where a guy like this slots into the all-time list/convo). We still lack that real game-breaker … not sure if Nesterenko can get there, or even Ambrosio.

The PP was incomprehensibly terrible this weekend, which really is right on par with typical BC teams in October. I don’t get it but whatever.

Probably very fortunate to get the tie on Friday.

Trivino has never been one of those players. Even outside of the rink, he'll say hi and is plenty of friendly, but has never been even close to saying or doing anything inappropriate.
