Well, MSU didn't hire Hastings, so there is a sliver of hope UW can not be last in the B16. And that they can hire him in a few years.

If the UW wants to stay with former Badgers, How about an Attitude Adjustment staff?
    HC - Chris Chelios.
    AC - Gary Suter.
    AC - John Newberry.
    G - Duane Derksen.

    There's some ATTITUDE!

    LET's GO AVs!

Well, he DID go 68-76, so my guess is McIntosh is writing up a contract as we speak.

If and only if he uses his coaching time to teach new goalies the spin-o-rama save he used against Denver and NoDak.

Please not Connelly. He's been coaching the goalies as the director of hockey operations and I would say the performance in goal has been questionable at best.
My head will explode if he gets the job. UW needs a new perspective, new thoughts, new ideas. The only positive would be he would not be the goalie coach and they could then find a better one.

I highly doubt that. I wish him the best.

“Everyone collectively understands what the expectation is at Wisconsin,” he said. “That’s fans, the team, coaches, administration. And that is championship-level hockey.”

It does read like Alvarez speak, however, it does clearly set the bar as in they need to be B16 title contenders, which would get them into the NCAA's. The issue to me is how many years will TG be given to right the ship? It's more than 1 for sure, probably 2 min if the trajectory is on the right path. If they are 12ish wins the next 2 years he is done. The problem with even keeping him is now they have to hype and promote an old sad improving loser instead of bringing in a fresh face with a winning pedigree who would automatically get a lot of positive attention and energize the fans. No fans are energized by retaining him.

Also of interest is Gorniak, Mersch, and Caufield are coming back per Todd M. Also, gwhinwi is missing Charlie Stramel for 22-23 per Todd:

10 forwards including 2 signed Freshman. 3 other potential freshman that haven't signed their NLI. They need to have 15-16 I would guess.
