I am frustrated. BUT I understand and appreciate where SAJ is. She is tasked with running a university. Not an athletic program. Sports are extracurricular. People pay big money to attend the university and the vast majority don’t come here to watch or play hockey or football. You may hate her methods but, so far, you can’t argue with her results. This is a situation where you have to come up with afollow a

As bad as it was, I am glad that I got to see the game at West Point.
Every team has encountered it...or will. As Smith said in the T/U piece they've been as careful as possible and with all of the travel its probably surprising that its only happening now. We can only hope that the number of cases is limited and we can hit the ice again soon. Until then we wait.

The Times Union freelancer that covers RPI put together a good article about the situation tonight and was able to interview Dave Smith: https://www.timesunion.com/sports/ar...e-16749727.php

As for yesterday's game, did anyone purchase the Flosports broadcast? I'm curious about the final goal. It sure looked like goaltender interference in the rink but the refs only spent about 30 seconds reviewing it so I assume I was wrong. Did anyone get a good view of it on TV? They only played one replay on the video board and it was behind the net and hard to see from where I was sitting.
The replay at the game showed that an RPI player was leaning on the Army player in the crease. Once I saw it I know it would be a good goal.

Yes. The puck crossed the goal line before contact was made with Marshall. Good goal.

interesting pattern. Away one weekend, home the next. No 4 game stretches either home or away.
I wonder if that is a first.
