It seems that we are running out of things to say. Don't let covid 19 end this thread.
It is the only link to RPI hockey and we need to keep it going until the Engineers are back on the ice again.

I wonder how they would work the travel partner pairings during the portion of the schedule that the Ivies wouldn't be playing.
Clarkson and St. Lawrence, I suppose, would remain as travel partners.
But then, do you leave RPI partnered with Union and have Colgate and Quinnipiac be the third pair?
Or do you pair Union with Colgate and RPI with Quinnipiac?
Not sure you'd change the travel partners, but instead just have byes, like you would for an odd number of teams. ECAC wants a balanced schedule which means 22 games, and the Ivies have 9 weeks to complete it, while the others have an extra 5 weeks, taking off Thanksgiving and the two weeks around Christmas. The Ivies are going to have to have mid-week games to make it happen.
In a league where everybody makes the playoffs, I'm not sure how important it is to have a balanced 22-game schedule.
If it proves impossible for everybody to play two games against each other ECAC opponent, they may just have to set playoff seedings on the basis of winning percentage in the games that are actually played.

Some other information trickling out. A new start date for the @collegehockey
season will likely be proposed: Nov. 1 for practices; Nov. 20 for non-conference games. Informal practices only in Oct. (think what Sept. has been like in recent years). 5/
