I call BS on that...compared to, esp the first Maine penalty which could have easily been a 5 min. major...Just an opinion of course...harrumph.

Good on Hockey East. I thought it was a pretty clear five minute major and sending off. He clearly intentionally hit Quinlivan in the head.

I don’t think Reid’s was even that bad. The guy turned and actually lowered. It was definitely less egregious than the hit from behind in the first. A side hit is never as bad as hitting the numbers.

At least this season we can simply enjoy mistakes without having to deal with the frustration of anyone making a mistake also subjecting us to team-leading point totals and a competent, top-20 power play. It certainly made things much simpler not having to worry about the defenseman caught deep on last night's Maine's goal also lifting the PP to better than 0-for-7 and actually winning the game...

Happy to jinx myself in the short-term - would still bet significant money its a real eye opener about what has been lost over the long term. Certainly against non-Maine opponents. They look awful through four periods...
