I got the app. I could only download one ticket at a time, each taking several keystrokes. Then I went to get the next one. I had to go about about 4 or 5 screens. 2 seats for ~20 games - that got old real quick.

A person with more than two brain cells to rub together would think they would have a provision for season ticket holders to download all their seats in one fell swoop, Then if you did want to transfer/sell one or more you could deal with those individually from your wallet.

Same seats since '93 - at the blue line on the glass

I'm getting very frustrated about this digital ticket crap. I don't have Google Pay on my phone, and I don't want it on my phone. How the heck am I supposed to access my tickets?

Also, we bought 4 tickets for my family of 3, thinking the extra space will be nice on games no one else wants to come to, that 4 would be easier to sell than 3, and that it'll be fun to give away the extra ticket to friends. It seems all too complicated now.

*grumble, grumble. get off my lawn. I'm too old for this ****

So there's a game Saturday... Given the talent differential and what BG lost, I imagine it will be ugly for my guys.

BG has gone all digital for tickets, too, and how it works is unclear. My wife and I routinely enter the arena at different times, and she does not have a smartphone. A friend is giving me his tickets for BG at tOSU, and I have to have an account to get them (Turns out I already have an account.) I have an account at Miami because I once bought tickets for a game there. BG plays Miami home-and-home, and I invited my relatives who went to Miami. If they want their own tickets, they'll have to have BG accounts. I had to have an account to buy a ticket for the forking Minnesota Zoo! What a load of crap.

At least there's hockey with fans in the stands!
        Go Falcons!

          Yeah, I misspoke.

When I get to the game I have access to both tickets. It's when I went to the next game it seemed like it took going back through way more many pages than it should have.

You got that right. It was nice being back in the arena.

Did anyone else notice how early we got out of the game last night?
The box score reports the game duration as 1:59! They were talking about it on the radio post game. One thing they mentioned was that the intermissions were cut to only 12 minutes each, a carry-over from last season. That's fine with me. 2 hours is fine with me. And the 7:00 starting times are just about perfect.

Shorter intermissions and no TV time outs. That made a big difference. Wish it was like that all the time.

As expected, the digital tickets resulted in longer lines getting in (at least for us at the North entrance 15 minutes before puck drop). Felt like a self serve grocery check out where I'm angry about being behind the old person that doesn't know what they're doing.

Heard from a coworker that is technologically challenged that she ended up calling her husband (who had arrived separately before her) to come down and figure out the ticket because she couldn't.

Hopefully it'll get better as the season progresses and people get used to the digital tickets. I was a bit upset when I saw the people behind me had physical tickets. Looked like they were general admission tickets from a quick glance.

The exhibition game looked great. Season officially starts this weekend with Lake State visiting.

I got my tickets downloaded to my phone after numerous attempts but when I got to the rink and tried to show them all I got were two totally blue squares - no ticket info. Being one of those older people who doesn't know what they are doing, I took the phone to the ticket window to see if someone there could get my tickets to show. After about 10 minutes she gave up and printed out tickets for me. On Monday I went to the ticket office and they printed out the remainder of the season for me. I will keep trying to get my phone to work since I will have to go through the same thing with our Women's Basketball season tix.

I must be doing something wrong- I went into the app, "add to wallet" and now I have both of our tickets ready to be held next to the scanner. Not the one with the code, but the one that you just hold the phone near. Like I'm all ready to go.

(BTW, this isn't for this weekend, or even in two weeks- we had trips planned before the schedule came out)

3,000 games! That's a lot of hockey. Last night was Michigan's 3,000th hockey game. In college hockey only Minnesota has more.

Also we had a couple basketball players in the stands. During the 1st intermission when I was waiting in line to get a cup of coffee Hunter Dickinson, Terrance Williams and (I think it was) Moussa Diabate came in. They sat in sect. 22 row 1.

It's game week for me. Just picked up my tickets from a benefactor, I'll get to take the whole family. My youngest son still hasn't been to a Michigan game of any kind yet, which means a week of stories of going to Michigan games is on tap.

Weather has been very mild up here this year; highs will be in the 50s this weekend, which isn't bad, and there might be some color left near the lake. We'll see how my trees hold up with the rain this week.

UMD at UMD will be a big test, but there's a good chance that the best opponent Michigan faces this weekend could be Mankato. Quite the weekend. I am way, way excited.

As you can tell; this is the most I've posted here in years. WT and JoeZ, you will be annoyed to find that UMD still passes out sheets of paper tickets. Have mine in my hand as I speak.

Was very glad to receive real paper tickets from UMD. We are really looking forward to our visit to Duluth. Four high quality teams in this tournament. Will be a real test for our youngsters but we have a good group of seniors to give them leadership. Hoping the boys can continue to score like they have. Expecting some good fall color somewhere on our trip as we travel through both peninsulas.

PS - Do you know if we need masks in the arena?
