Breen is so good. His first goal could not have come at a better time.

They looked awesome tonight, no lapses in effort, consistent offense. They capitalized on chances and wore Air Force down. Maine looked like the more fit team and at altitude that’s impressive.
They rolled 4 lines all game, it was hard to tell who the best line was. Breen is the man, he has the potential to be a star.
It will take an incredible effort tomorrow against Denver to win so no expectations there but it’ll be a good measuring stick to show them how they stack up against the best.

Didn't watch, but just from scanning the box score looks like a very good and complete win. Only allowed 21 shots, and that's with giving 4 PP opportunities, took 32 of their own, won at the dot, scored a shorty. Shooting load was evenly spread out, almost everyone had at least one shot. Great foundation for the year in a game they really needed to win, given many of their next opponents outside of Bentley.

Good road win last night. For a team that's struggled away from Alfond as much as they have in recent years gotta be happy about that (even if AF isn't a top flight opponent).
Don't think any of us are expecting this team to go into Magness and leave with a win tonight.
But I think we all do want to see the conditioning focus this offseason pay off and have the team push Denver for a full 60 minutes tonight.

This is arguably the game I wanted to watch the most this year, but unfortunately I have to work through it all. Hopefully those of you that do watch can give updates and insight as to how they look against the defending champions and #1 ranked team in the nation, on their own ice.

Hoping they can make it a game in the 3rd. They’re playing hard, can’t be mad about the effort. Gotta clean up all the penalties, especially the leaders on the team.
