Mucitelli has been a disappointment so far. I don't expect him to work miracles but he has had pretty big breakdowns in multiple games.

Not really a fan of the planned ribbon boards by the student section. I think it would make more sense to just upgrade the center-ice scoreboard with nicer video capabilities.

I put this together pretty quick but something like this where you have the top and bottom rings to run ads during stoppages and show important game details during play.

Not hockey related, Pena is a good ball player, rbi and homer tonite, both of houstons runs at 4 innings. Good glove too.
Tv guys talked about how pena shoveled snow off the ball field at umaine. Lol.

Merrimack beat BC last night. HE will be tight this year. We need some points this weekend and that will be tough.

Has the sound system ever been good in Alfond? Maybe they could setup a blue tooth signal so you just wear headphones to hear the announcements : )

Exactly right!!!!! The announcer has been unintelligible for years!! I can hear him, but I can't understand a single word.

Didnt they "upgrade" the sound system ten years ago when they did the seat changes, repoured the concrete floor, new ice making, new lights etc.

Hope they do better this next time.

The Saturday game they had the PA cranked. There were times where the volume was so loud it was jarring. But certainly agree that cleaner audio would make a huge difference as well.

What would we consider a successful weekend? For me taking one of the games to overtime and a close loss would keep me optimistic. If they can take one of the games I’d be thrilled. Uconn is heavy and fast which is something I don’t think Maine has really seen yet.

It’ll be good test, hope our goaltending can be solid.

Found a free video stream for the game so I'll be watching tonight.

I know better than to expect much on the road from this Maine team yet, but if they can pull off a split I'll be very happy. Just don't want to see this team get bullied around this weekend.

Maine will play with a lead after a Sirota goal from the point. Good start so far here in the first.
