Kyle Hallbauer's first game for Brooklyn Summer late today https://***********/BrklynSummerJHL/...90118470832134. It looks like they think he plays for Lone Star (NAHL) and is committed to RPI.

Not ideal to have promising assistants move on, but it may be premature to read too much into it; assistant coach movement is a fairly regular occurrence in hockey due to budgets, etc. Look at Ben Barr: how many moves did he make to build his resume?

Maybe something will come out about the reported move to UVM, but it could be as simple as a promotion/different assignment as a career step, or perhaps the new UVM coach was able to offer a handsome raise.

Looking forward to buying RPI season tickets!

Glad we furloughed the assistants so that Shirley only needed to take a 5% pay cut!

UVM has only one direction to go in my opinion, and that is up as last few years were very bleak. Thus, bright(er) future as they have already hit the lowest of lows. With RPIs roster turning over, no team on/off ice functions since Feb 2020, a relatively weak non-con schedule, an apparent new addition to coaching staff, no known contract extension for DS as of now and a noted lack of admin support……questions on future as to how long it takes RPI to get back on track are on my mind.

Majority of Moser’s playing/coaching career has been under DS and or his staff. Guessing this is also a move partly to expand his network and knowledge from other resources. Regardless the reason(s) for Moser leaving, another tough loss for RPI.
