You think two tickets for two nights @ 306 is a good deal? Did I get that right? That's roughly 75 per ticket. I watch the US Nationals for 12 a ticket.

I had to pay $45 per seat to see ASU play BSU at Sanford Arena 10 days ago, which I thought was high, especially not being sold out, being I paid $29 a seat at Gila to see the Yotes play NJ Devils late last season. & all tix at Sanford were higher priced than what I bought there. Seems crazy.

      • ManureSpreader, I enjoy sarcasm. The tix were $75 apiece. Seats at Colgate are $17 apiece. Frozen Four in Tampa are $90 apiece (three games = $270). I have now seen hockey at 124 different arenas.

        • I bought a single ticket at BGSU for a game next month. the ticket was 24 dollars, the online fee was 15.50 and goes up with the price of the ticket. I would have bought multiple tickets but for the fees. Instead I bought 1.

            • I was honestly fairly disappointed in Mullett Arena. The concourse layout is terrible (can't walk around the entire upper because of the club & the lower is only about a third of the way around. Add to a single entry and jts just poorly designed. The upper concourse is also extremely narrow. NMU built their rink almost 25 years ago on the cheap (an estimated $11 million - almost $20 million in today's dollars), and narrow concourse has always been one of the top complaints. Mullett's are basically the same size in many areas & the building was well over $100 million more. There's also no team shop, only small kiosks. It certainly has some nice touches and the crowd was into the game, but they could have done so much better.

Edit - we pre-gamed at Ghost Ranch from the article Sol Diablo posted a few pages ago. PHENOMENAL. Can't recommend any more highly. Maybe my new favorite restaurant anywhere!

I haven't been there since opening, still in northern Minnesota, but plan to go once we make it south after the holidays. Sounds like it's similar to Sanford/Bemidji, but with 2 concourses & a bar standing area added to it? Did you get to the 2nd rink area or was it closed off?

No, we couldn't access the 2nd rink that I could tell. Didn't ask though. And, sort of like Sanford but the Mullett lower concourse is maybe half the size. Basically only behind sections 105-110?

The club/bar in the upper concourse is almost the entire length of the rink behind the benches, so behind sections 119, 120, 101, 102 & 103. We had tickets in 118, so probably the best option, if I knew better, would have been to enter that first section right at the main entrance & walk up to the concourse. Instead, we walked all the way over to the stairs at 104-105. Since we couldn't walk through the club, we then had to walk about 3/4ths of the way around to get to our seats. Now, as someone who likes to explore arenas, I was fine with it. My wife, and, I'm sure many "regular" fans? Annoyed by it. Definitely seems they could have designed it better.

                  • This will be interesting if it comes to fruition. Wear sandals, shorts & jerseys while attending the game (unless in Sedona, Prescott or Flagstaff)! Maybe they can combine it with a Sun Devil game, one following the other?????

                    • NCHC referees insure Denver wins first game.
They overturn their own call of "no goal". How is this not high sticking????

So a slashing penalty instead of a goal?

Possible...but unlikely...and not just because it's NCHC refs.

Look at the video, it's clear it's one or the other.
