Much better on Saturday but still didn't quite seem like the pre-break team. I thought the passing on Friday was terrible and improved Saturday. And the pipes were Scheel's friend. Pretty bold of Brad to make the line-up changes that he did, and the guys - Rieger, Johnson and Keene - played a great game.

Disappointing night, but all streaks must end at some point. Hopefully they are able to regroup and come out tomorrow night and get the W. They have really struggled since the calendar turned over...

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-- Sophomore goaltender Adam Scheel (Lakewood, Ohio) is the back-to-back winner of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference's Goalie of the Month, announced Tuesday by league officials. Scheel won both games at then-17th-ranked Western Michigan to help extend UND's long unbeaten streak.

Very similar game to last night...identical result. North Dakota also sets a program record with their 13th consecutive home win.

UND now on a 15-game unbeaten streak. They will look to push that to 16 (and their home streak to 14) next weekend against Omaha.

They did what they had to do and now move on to conference play. Thankful for this series to polish the rust off. That goal by Gooch tonight was sick

Last night was a pretty lackluster and uninspired performance from North Dakota, but they managed to find a way to get the W and keep their win streak in tact. I expect a much better performance tonight, as UND looks for their 13th straight home win and extend their unbeaten streak overall to 15.

Looked like a team that had not played in 3 weeks.
