well fits the mold for big guys Lowell have been aiming for!

again, take it for what it’s worth…

how Do we get his rating?
"We will play a style that is a puck-possession game, an up-tempo style ... It will rely on speed and toughness. I’m sure these players can
make that adjustment very easily. We’re going to make the Tsongas a tough place to get points for other teams." -UML Coach Norm Bazin

Thanks. Also in line with Ratings we typically land. We will see I guess.

Not a whole lot of goal scoring coming from this list.

            • Conn is listed as the 191st ranked 2004 by NZ.

From the USHL Showcase in November:
Conn is a big-bodied reliable defenseman out of Colorado Thunderbirds organization who played with the MN Wilderness last season for his first year in junior. He comes to the USHL this year as rookie and was adjusting to the pace of play as a bottom pair physical presence defendere but he used his size and strength to protect his net front and keep pucks in at the offensive blue line. He’s fairly mobile for his size and has a long sturdy stick to break up passes and take away passing and shooting lanes. Where he’ll need some refinement is his decision making away from the puck; he was aggressive sometimes on pinches or stepping up against zone entries when he should have played it more conservatively not having the numbers and then there were times where he should step up and challenge the puck carrier and he played a loose gap so some improved situational recognition would go a long way in his game. He’s simple with the puck he didn’t turn it over much but he was too quick to go up the boards instead of trying to find the direct pass especially on the breakout. What stood out was his physicality and his focused defensive zone play keeping his head on a swivel picking up bodies at the net front and pinning opponents to the boards below the dots. Tough to play against but raw in a few areas mainly his puck play and decision making but those will both likely come with more time and experience at this level. Grade: B-

                  • Tough luck for Ben Brunette as he's missed the last 9 games for Penticton with an injury. Ben only played 15 games in 2021-2022 due to injury.

                    • Lowell commit Daniel Buchbinder will be heading to the BCHL next season, as he's committed to the Penticton Vees. The Vees are basically a perennial powerhouse in the BCHL. According to Heisenberg's site, he's slated to enroll at Lowell in 2024.

Speaking of Penticton, Ben Brunette returned to the lineup this past weekend after missing 13 games due to injury.

                        • Recruit stats as of 3/13/23. Good to see a trio of forwards (Moriello, Parks and Vaarwerk) had a good month plus. O'Donnell's rating dropped slightly.
