You are quite welcome. We, at NU, are entirely to familiar with the powers of the NLI. If you recall, our former AD allowed himself to be bullied into releasing a scrawny kid named Gaudreau from his NLI with no strings attached. He then went to BC where he helped them to win the Frozen 43 and picked up the Hobey for himself. The curse was lifted when Mr. Roby the AD a.k.a. "the Hockey Assassin" retired on 2/1/18. Within the next two weeks, the team won its first Beanpot in 30 years and then won it again last year, just for good measure. He won't be missed.Originally posted by UMLFan View Post

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, but if you look back to earlier posts in the previous thread, Matt Brown and Brian Chambers signed their NLIs in November 2017, so it might not be that unusual.Originally posted by UMLFan View PostComment

Ben Meehan signed his NLI the other day so I assume he's coming in next season. Looking at the commitments for teams over the past couple of weeks it amazing how many were previously committed to other teams. Nothing is guaranteed until they sign a NLI.Comment
