The names in red on Chris’ sheet have signed NLIs, and usually that means they will play the season after signing. I’d expect Scout, Owen and Nick to be on the roster this fall.

That sounds right Middle Street. I wonder if some on the roster will move on due to lack of playing time. The portal activity should start to pick up with the season coming to an end.

I was wondering if they'll also look for a couple of defensemen. Currently the Hawks will only have 8 with Schweighardt and Brunette coming in. Brunette has only played in 15 games so far this season due to injuries. Does Brunette play another year of juniors? Daniil Dolzhenko is the only other defenseman in the pipeline, he'll turn 18 at the end of August. Getting another Nick Austin type from the portal would be nice.
