    LOL. Don't worry. Us smaller schools are very defensive about being lumped in with the larger in state schools. We always have to inform people that our university exists, where it's located, and yes, they focus on academics, except Northern Michigan.

    Minnesota State's older alumni can't get the name of the school right.

    Happens all the time in Southern Ohio. Anything that is yellow and dark and has the word "Michigan" on it is close enough for OSU fans to think one is a Skunk Weasel supporter.

    the University of Alabama doesn’t have a team in the WCHA. Minnesota is in the Big Ten.

    Oh, and to the topic's title: no, we can't. We're a two-bit league with seven teams who want to axe three in the idea that this would make them better. You know what would make them better? Not losing games to those three teams! The Gutless Wonders never cease to amaze.
