I have ZERO sympathy for Greg Powers. That happens to everyone, almost every game has those and if he thinks the WCHA is bad, I've got news for him..... so it's not just him and his team. I didn't see what Hastings said, but I'd be curious to hear.

Dear BG, didn't you hope to play in the tournament again?

Good luck! I do think they're gettable, especially early in the season. The freshman goaltender is supposed to be the real deal, but may take some time to adjust.

I'm still so upset about the cowardly 7 that it's hard for me to root for the league as a whole.

Yeah, sorry. I go to bed early! I missed the Alaska scores.

This weekend will go a long way in setting the tone for our non-con results.

    - MSU should be able to take Arizona St.
    - NMU hopefully can take Sparty for both.
    - Bemidji has in-state St. Cloud. Probably SCSU, but it's early.
    - LSSU can hopefully take one from a travel wary Denver team

And we also have a Cripple fight between UAA and Maine

The Upper Peninsula went undefeated this weekend. That's what I like to see in the nonconference.

Lake State did us proud and is better than most people think given the losses they suffered, Tech was pretty good but I thought NMU was a better team from what I saw. Comments?
I was at the BG game last night. Our offense was swarming. Mental errors on defense led to most of their goals so the coaches have some cleanup work ahead of them. Dop looked good; I don't think we'll miss Bednard as much as people think. Ice Breaker is next for us. Was glad to see Tech pull it out in OT on Sat. And UA played Denver tough both nights. Either Denver isn't as good as their press clippings or UA is milking the "jilted lover" thing for all it's worth. Not looking forward to our trip to Fairbanks.
