I also think they were number 1 in the county for a lot of the season like 7-8 years ago. However the drop off has been severe. Interested to hear your thoughts. I applied there and got in but chose to go elsewhere. But I remember on my tour thinking it was cool they were playing up with the big boys in Hockey East.

Re: UAA New Season New Digs
Considering the actions of the Shady Seven and the idiot in the governor's mansion, what are the odds we see you guys in Alfond Arena this October? Is the 2019-20 season really in jeopardy, or is that just talk?

But if neither happens and UAF/UAA really do absorb a 41% state funding cut in addition to whatever federal matches are lost as a result of losing state funding, hard and significant institutional decisions will happen very quickly.“We offer no apology for our location at 64 51’21’’ north latitude. We are building for the future and we are confident that well directed effort and education are the forces which make progress possible”

Aside from that 3 months of glory that season, they have done very little since joining Hockey East. They've had home ice in the quarter finals exactly twice in 30 seasons (1997 and 2011).
