I though he looked great. I wonder if the team is going to be looking for some pay back this weekend.

Well shoot, the power-play looks just as boring and predictable as last year. I was hoping with Shaw being gone we would see something different...

Seriously though.. how can they miss 5 shots in a row on a 5-3??

It's like they forgot you can still score on a rebound

Re: UND Fighting Hawks 2019 Off-season Thread

UND got a little revenge from when they were swept by Canisius out in their barn last year to open the season winning in dominant fashion 5-0. Outshot the Griffins 40-11 in doing so. This freshman kid in Pinto could very well be ROY in the NCHC. 6'2" 200 pound freshman who isn't afraid to go to the dirty areas. Defense was stout and Sheel in net looked calm as he did have a couple point blake shots from the slot. Need to finish them tonight. Attendance was around 9000, so not bad with a full blown blizzard happening outside.

UND allowed just 11 shots on goal, which matches the lowest total by a UND opponent since 2003, when Yale was held to 10 in a game at Ralph Engelstad Arena.

UND squeaks by Bemidji 2-1 in overtime. Beavers played shut down D for the first 40 then UND took over in the third.
