Great to see Skyer back on the board. This team has depth, and look at the stats. Their top players are also top players in the country. Lets stay healthy, love to get Bonjo back....this is a team to get excited about. Wish I could see it live, yet happy the boys are doing what they are doing. I watch a lot of college hockey, Notre Dame/MN replay this morning. Our guys are there. And Petro, can be the difference. We haven't seen his best.
All spot on points. Odeen is not only leading the nation (By a mile) in points, he’s also the only one in the top 10 PPG, with more than 10 played. Can you imagine if Bonjo was in the lineup and healthy? They’d probably be Top 5 and Odeen would probably be averaging 2-3 PPG. I suspect they’ll continue to find their game without him. Desi, DeJong, that Bum Smilanic (Haha Mark), all seem to be a very good supporting cast. KP will no doubt steal a few games as well. He’s matured so much. Great to see him succeed.

This team is very good. Know John would disagree. Lets see how it shakes out.

10 goals in 15 games for Smilanic, which is tied for 2nd in all of D-1 hockey so far this season. He's a freshman! Hopefully doesn't leave too early, because he's the real deal. As advertised.

Definitely a natural scorer. Hopefully FL thinks he needs a little more time. I hope/think we’ll get at least one more year with him.

Great effort by all this weekend. They have been fun to watch (I'd really like to see them in person) and the stats seem to speak for themselves. Tufto is a magician with the puck. Petro has really solidified his game and looks much more confident and relaxed between the pipes. Together, they have what it takes to lead this team anywhere. The supporting cast has been good with Burgart probably the biggest surprise. Smilanic has really been impressive and will only get better. I'd like to see a little more out of the 3rd and 4th lines. Defense has tightened up. I can't believe the improvement in Lee's game. Considering his size, he plays big on the back end and has some offensive flair as well.

Another big test this coming weekend with 3 on the road.
            Quinnipiac Bobcats

Pass complete. Lipkin has a man in front! Shot... SCORE!!!

It's actually amazing to watch this group develop. I haven't been around the QU community that long, yet Rand has complete trust in the kids he recruits and his system. Takes a little time, yet they are buying in. Doesn't mean a natty, yet does mean consistent good hockey year after year. When you look at these kids stats on national level, very impressive. This year especially will take some heat due to our conference make up, yet these kids are getting in a groove.

Solid points! Dont think anyone realizes how many stud players we have on this team. We dont have a Priske, yet a crew that are all capable. We get the pistons firing in the right direction, could be fun to watch.

All three games at Cheel this weekend, weird, like the playoffs.
It all starts with the goaltending.

                    • It would be so nice to know if Bongo is out for the year or we can look forward to his return. He is natural goal scorer like Sam Anas was in college. Need him in the lineup to help find the back of the net. Gosh the Clarkson play—by- guy is hard to listen to. They need an analyst so you hear his voice only 70% of the time.

                        • Man we’re lacking scoring right now. Petro carrying this team on his back...maybe he’ll come back for a 5th year since NCAA giving an extra year of eligibility...but it is Detroit and they’d want him ASAP I would think. What’s their top 3 goalies in organization look like?

Clarkson got a great transfer in the Ex-Sacred Heart player...he’s been their best player first 2 games of the series. They have 7 NHL draft picks which is a great recruiting job. It must help being close to Canada border.

Watch Chip McDonald’s do tomorrow’s rubber match and kill us AGAIN. As long as he’s not present we have a great chance to take 2/3 again vs Clarkson.

Losing Bonjo paralyzed this offense. The lines don’t look in sync, but credit to Clarkson for causing havoc in the forecheck. Only 3 SOGs in 3rd/OT. Some bad penalties too. Be nice to get a win tomorrow. KP has been stellar, but can’t expect a Shutout every night.

Guys could probably use the break next week. Though, I wonder if Rand tries to schedule an idle AH team. Bentley is shut down and I think SHU is until February. AF and Army might be open.
