Is it me or does it seem that there are a lot of players (Brackett, Itagaki, Muzzatti, e.g.) who are not playing but their teams are. Injury concerns or just being benched due to teams having better players? And then there are 5 other recruits who look like they will not play at all this year. Your comments please?

It does concern me too. A problem is that the NAHL has expanded their roster limit this season. Unless a player is truly a star, he won't play all of the time. It is of course possible that there are injuries. The only injury I am certain about is the one which kept McDonald out. It would not surprise me if any of these three are injured. Muzzatti played a game and scored a goal for the USNTDP 18U team. Anyone who plays there should be able to play regularly in the NAHL. I add that he is the youngest player on his team. Brackett started like a house on fire and dropped off to nothing. That could be due to an injury.

On Thursday, Morristown-Beard defeated Morris Knolls 3-1 in the finals of the Mennen Cup. (They had the bye in a 3-team tourney.) Kareem Al-Azem had no points or penalties. https://highschoolsports.nj.com/game/639523

On Friday, the Omaha Lancers defeated the Lincoln Stars 3-2. Hunter McDonald had a roughing penalty. Zach Dubinsky had 2 goals (1 PPG), a high sticking penalty, a 10-minute misconduct, and a slashing penalty with a game misconduct. 3 SOGs.
