Granted, the number of high-profile jobs out there could accelerate things, but I could see us being without a coach for a couple more weeks.

Leaman's buyout and salary are going to be a stumbling block. Likely rules him out.
Hastings checks all the boxes and fits better in the budget. Now we see how much they want to get him.

Anyways, this is quite exciting. Nothing like hope renewed after a new staff takes over.

There was a private plane that landed in Lansing from Naples yesterday. No outbound flight yet to tip off who was on board.

And couldn't it just have been the AD/whoever represented MSU down there returning back to Michigan?

I've been watching Flight aware for a couple days now and there were no inbound flights from Lansing to Naples in the last 3 days, so that would suggest it wasn't Haller alone.

Highly doubtful that fired coaches would still have a charter flight. Could be Alan Haller himself if they had the meeting in Florida, but I would think any candidate would want to see the facilities in person.
