Much like the Anastos hiring. I think Hollis took about a month to hire him. I don't think Cole's hiring was immediate, either.

Granted, the number of high-profile jobs out there could accelerate things, but I could see us being without a coach for a couple more weeks.

Would be a homerun if that happens for you guys! Look at Mankato's record before and after he arrived there....

Also hearing Nate Leaman is under consideration.

            • Adam Nightingale interviewed before he left for Germany.

Leaman's buyout and salary are going to be a stumbling block. Likely rules him out.

Hastings checks all the boxes and fits better in the budget. Now we see how much they want to get him.

Granted Nightingale may be a good choice, I hope they don't settle this go around. Pony up the cash and go get Hastings or someone like him.

Hollis really took that long? He put in the most minimal amount of effort possible in both searches.

Anyways, this is quite exciting. Nothing like hope renewed after a new staff takes over.

                  • There was a private plane that landed in Lansing from Naples yesterday. No outbound flight yet to tip off who was on board.

Did Bill Muckalt sneak inside the wheel well?

And couldn't it just have been the AD/whoever represented MSU down there returning back to Michigan?

It took off at 2:16 pm yesterday and flew to Grand Rapids, where Northern Jet Management, it's owner/operator is located.

Highly doubtful that fired coaches would still have a charter flight. Could be Alan Haller himself if they had the meeting in Florida, but I would think any candidate would want to see the facilities in person.

I've been watching Flight aware for a couple days now and there were no inbound flights from Lansing to Naples in the last 3 days, so that would suggest it wasn't Haller alone.

If it’s someone who wants to see the facilities/campus for themselves then that would pretty much cross Pat Ferschweiler off the list! He’s quite familiar with Munn.
