If the goal is to keep geographical rivalries and minimize travel costs, I wouldn't mind seeing this arrangement:
NACHO = AF, ASU, CC, DEN, UAA, UAF
WCHA = BSU, LSSU, MSUM, MTU, NMU, SCSU, UMD, UND
CCHA = BGSU, FSU, MU, UAH, UNO, WMU
This scenario brings in AF and ASU but keeps conferences relatively small (6-8 teams) which opens up more dates to play OOC traditional rivals, tournaments or Eastern/B1G teams.
One possible change is to swap the UP schools with UNO.Comment
