On Monday, the Spruce Grove Saints defeated the Bonnyville Pontiacs 5-3. They trail in the best-of-7 division final series 2-1. Cory Babichuk had 3 assists (3 PPAs) and interference and roughing after the whistle penalties. https://ajhl.esportsdesk.com/leagues...gameID=1877002

I just thought of something. Hadn't Fontaine already signed his NLI before decommitting? How does that affect his eligibility?

FWIW, A response on Finish Your Check to a question by turk181 on two of our three recruits playing in Nationals starting tomorrow. (Leibold is also there in the 18U tourney. ) https://finishyourcheck.com/topic/12...mment=14870406

Both RPI committs ------ Have not seen Mission U15 this year, (Generally, U15 is not great - however, because Mission U16 is so loaded, Mission U15 is worth checking out.

Believe Babich is well regarded, however he is behind 3 other kids playing Mission u15 (Burnside, Devine, Silich) and possibly Rivelli. Have to believe Babich is drafted in top 5 rounds of phase 1 draft, and next years U16 season will be telling....

Believe Itagaki is a smaller kid with some skill & scoring touch, but obviously he's gonna have to get physically bigger for future success.

BTW, I agree that the really best 15-year olds skip that level,.

On Tuesday, the Lincoln Stars lost to the Sioux Falls Stampede 8-1. Tristan Ashbrook had no points or penalties. Zach Dubinsky had a tripping penalty. Mason Klee scored a goal against his old team. https://www.ushl.com/view/#/game-summary/8481
