    Got the sweep tonight.

I'll be in Da Yoop next weekend, looking forward to a similar result.

Well Tech did their part and got six points but they didn't get much help. It should be an interesting final weekend of the regular season. Most of the teams are playing for something of meaning:
Mankato (vs BSU) - Nothing to play for, already won the Cup
BGSU (vs UAH) - Trying to hold the #2 seed
NMU (vs/@ MTU) - Trying to hold onto home ice spot
LSSU (vs Ferris) - Trying to hold onto home ice
BSU (@ MSU) - Trying to get home ice
MTU (vs/@ NMU) - Trying to get home ice
Alaska (@UAA Gov's Cup) - Not much to play for, locked into the playoffs and will be on the road
UAH (@BGSU) - Trying to hold onto the final playoff spot
Ferris (@ LSSU) - Trying to get the last playoff spot
UAA (vs UAF Gov's Cup) - Already out of the playoffs, season over after next weekend

UAF and UAA - Really, REALLY hate each other

I'm all but convinced that the first round matchup will be in Marquette.

          BGSU likely to sweep UAH
          Mankato likely to sweep Bemidji
          LSSU likely to sweep Ferris

That means if Tech sweeps or splits, they rise above BSU to 5th and knock NMU to 4th. If NMU sweeps, they stay above LSSU for 3rd and Tech stays 6th.

Screwy overtimes and shootouts could of course compound the factors. But these seem to be the likely scenarios.

I disagree. It will bring me most enjoyment (again) to watch Tech knock Northern out at the Berry Library.

As someone watching from afar, if Tech can't have home ice, I would love for them to play in Marquette.

If eNeMa U doesn't block ticket sales again.

You know they will, but this time they will find some more devious way to do it. I bet if you walked up at game time and tried to buy a ticket they still would prevent it, even if there were open seats.

I'd get in. Then take my NMU jacket and hat off to expose my Huskies sweater.

I'll say "maybe". The thought of going to the Ralph for a second time makes me want to, well you know, Ralph. However I am curious to see just how much "Sue" was stripped out of the building since I was last there. Also a one-game series isn't really that appealing for long distance travel.
