I believe North Dakota needs the following results to make the tournament:
    Clarkson over Harvard;
    Northeastern/Providence winner over Boston University;
    Clarkson over Princeton; AND

    1 of the following:
    a. North Dakota win over Denver/Duluth loser; or
    b. Michigan Tech over Northern Michigan

It looks like the ECAC will go to an autobid. That would be 13.

SCSU is locked as #1 overall. Notre Dame is locked as a 1 seed. Cornell, Denver and Ohio State are fighting for the other two 1 seeds.

The bubble has shrunk to Clarkson, UMD, UMTC, UND and BC. BU is win or go home.

      Updated scenarios
Wow. What a comeback. Clarkson rallies from 4-1 down to defeat Harvard 5-4 in OT to punch their ticket to the NCAA. They can help bubble teams by winning the ECAC tomorrow night and knocking out Princeton.

Don't forget that UMD is NOT clinched.

2 losses leave them below Minnesota, and thus vulnerable.
              Princeton
              BU
              UMD loses twice

Without crunching the numbers, I believe the following is correct:

If either Princeton or BU win, North Dakota and BC are eliminated.

If both Princeton and BU win, Minnesota is eliminated, unless Minnesota Duluth loses both tonight and tomorrow night.

If both Princeton and BU lose, then...
North Dakota makes the tournament with the following:
                a. North Dakota win over Denver/Minnesota Duluth loser; OR
                b. Michigan Tech over Northern Michigan
If neither a. nor b., then BC makes the tournament.

I think that boils it down very clearly. Except that, NoDak needs a "tie" or win tomorrow.

And in the event both Minnesota and North Dakota are eliminated, it will be the first time in forty (40) years that both programs missed the NCAA Tournament.

Not if Michigan Tech beats Northern Michigan.

EDIT: Nevermind, I see what you are saying. If both Princeton and BU lose, North Dakota needs either: (1) a win or tie in the 3rd place game; OR (2) Michigan Tech over Northern Michigan. I was reading your post wrong.

So, it actually has to go in this order:
1- If UMD wins tonight, they are in,
1a- Under 1), if UND w/t, then BC is out.
1b- Under 1a) Minny and UND decided by ECAC and HE tomorrow night.
1a1- If UND lose, and Prov/NE and Clark both win, then UND/BC for the last spot is decided by MTU/NMU

2- If UMD lose tonight, then....
2a- UND win tomorrow puts Minny in, and BC out
2b- UMD/UND tie tomorrow, then BC is out, and UMD is in
2c- UMD win tomorrow, UMD is in
2d- Under 2b or 2c, Minny is decided by HE and ECAC, and BC/UND might be
2e- If Prov/NE and Clark both win, then the last spot again comes down to the NMU/MTU result

And, does it seem now as if the #1s are:
                                SCSU
                                NoDame
                                Cornell
                                OSU
                                ??

I can't seem to get Denver in there, so that would shore that part of the bracket up, right?

And, can anyone get NoDak to a #3? I don't think so.

So, if NoDak makes it, Ohio State plays in Sioux Falls.
If NoDak does not, SCSU plays in Sioux Falls.
                                Right?
