Women are at Minnesota for 2 games. Can be seen on BTN for $9.95 for both games. I believe it is the first time these teams have ever played. https://www.btn2go.com/game/vermont-...ta-on-01122018

i don't even think that argument holds up at this point. Since '09 they haven't finished in the top half of the HE standings even once. That's consistently being a bottom feeder even during the recent 20 win seasons where they were frequently ranked in the polls. In those years they would beat lesser teams and couldn't win against good teams. That is NOT success. I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but yikes!

In the end that's what upsets me the most as an alum and 30+ year fan. I'm not even asking them to succeed......I'm asking them to convince me they are trying to succeed.

Totally agree. It's a self fulfilling prophecy.

I won't say his name out of respect for him as I'm not sure what his current relationship with the station is - but he is a very passionate, 30+ year season ticket holder. Oddly enough, when I spoke to him recently he seems to have become a Sneddon defender or at least points more of the blame at the facilities and his perception of Vermont hockey as a once in a blue moon type of program.

Do you punish players with which you have a personality conflict? What do you think of Brady Shaw’s comments on Twitter about your extension? Have you given any consideration to resigning given the current state of the program? Why do so many of your players leave the program early? Why don’t your players progress from freshman year on? Do you believe line chemistry is important in hockey? And if so, how can you expect your lines to gel with you constantly shuffling?
This is by far the best line of questions assembled yet!!! Totally agree!!! Any chance you can get in the next session. :-)

agree - he is worth the phone call even if he say no right away because he will be a major alum that the school should have a strong relation with especially if he is headed for NHL!
honestly there is so much talent out there that could coach this team to something more respectable than Sneddon and the longer they keep him around for this dumpster fire the more those guys like the Ellsworth Rolston land other jobs and they miss out - dont let anyone fool you people know UVM is a great job that what it lacks in strength room and custom hot tubs or whatever you make up in support because its packed when team wins in a legendary barn that should have a nice refresh coming to bring it into the modern age and the pay theyd give you is very good living in VT also you get one of the best leagues to coach in that is the most foolish part of making that deal in the summer any good AD knows when to pull the plug when it is clear there has been a plateau but with small time mentality in the big leagues UVM is shooting self in foot

They are in a tough spot, but I think it's like this in most smallish college towns. I don't listen to the 101.3 talk show because the guy is such a jerk, but I bet not a lot of calls on UVM hockey, probably mostly Red Sox and NFL. Core fans are passionate, but most people are not. It's amazing how many casual fans I talk to that don't try to get tickets because they think UVM sells out every game.
