    1) Tied for youngest team in the country 2) Lost a ton of scoring to graduation from last year's team. 3) Top freshman, Clayton Keller, being out 7 of 17 games didn't help.

That being said, BU isn't in shabby position at T-4 in the Pairwise. I expect a stronger second half given their age and adjustment to the college game.

(as was mentioned a few years ago when Finland wasn't all that strong, they were not able to be relegated for the next year because they were the hosts)
Canada/USA on New Years Eve is already locked in. They are going to be in the same group no matter what.

Yeah, it's easy to forget the fact that some of these guys can be 5 to 6 years younger than some players on other teams. They may be among the best in the world for their age group, but that doesn't make them the best college players in the country (that is why Eichel was such a special player - he WAS that young AND was the best player in the country).

I wasn't including Matthews in his age group, since he was a different draft year. Otherwise, I would agree with you.

I'll be on a plane, but if work will allow there will likely be a YouTube stream on reddit.com/r/nhlstreams.

DVR and radio/internet silence for me.

Two tough games coming up for sure (win or lose today).

Playing in Buffalo next year, wouldn't that location have the same results in addition to being close to several metropolitan areas?
