Give it time. Deliberations in South Dakota take longer than most other places due to an obscure state law.

"We are relieved to know that the AIC team has been found, and equally happy to find that their disappearance was not part of a larger plot to disrupt our event" Bedwetter said.
Committee members, tournament personnel and the Bowling Green State University team had all been held in protective custody at a trailer park on the outskirts of this remote city in west-central South Dakota. "We have had threats before" Bedwetter continued, "from hockey purists, elitist snobs, Canadians and other fringe kooks. They consider our event an affront to the dignity of the sport...and it is!"
Bedwetter declined to answer questions about the completion of this year's tournament, but unnamed sources close to the committee are said to have overheard the committee discussing several options, including:

Re: Bottom Feeders Bracket/Futile Four 2010
Taos, NM Sixteen members of of a New England college ice hockey team were among fifty two people arrested in an early morning raid of a ramshackle compound just north of this New Mexico community. The men's hockey team from American International College in Springfield Mass, had been abducted on April 6 in Flowood Miss as they were traveling by bus to the chumpionship game of the BottomFeedersBracket/FutileFour.
The pre-dawn raid, a joint effort of Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) and a truant officer from Taos Municipal Schools, had been in the planning stages for several weeks according to a statement from the office of the school superintendent.
Solving the mystery of the missing hockey team appears to have been completely accidental, as preparations for the raid were well underway long before their abduction. Speculation is rampant that the hockey players were overtaken by the Stockholm Syndrome, a rare psychological phenomenon wherein hostages develop positive relationships with, and sympathy for the causes of their captors.
Confiscated materials included: 240 kilos of marijuana, 32 pounds of methamphetamine, an undisclosed number of weapons and a bootlegged VHS recording of the Allman Brothers Band 1971 Fillmore East concerts. Two mobile homes filled with laboratory equipment and supplies for the production of methamphetamine were still being inventoried at the time of this article's release, and agents have begun the process of destroying "several thousand" marijuana plants found in various stages of cultivation on the property.
The remaining members of the AIC team remain unaccounted for, altho statements overheard among those being arrested lead this reporter to believe that they had left freely earlier in the week. Depending on which version you choose to believe, the missing players either went out mushroom hunting, or were planning to hitchhike to Venice California to pursue careers in the adult film industry. It is also possible that they simply went home.
Attempts to reach anyone connected with the BFB/F4 have not met with any success.

Perhaps the AIC team has finally showed up and they are still caught in a marathon overtime tied at the riveting score of 0-0?

Re: Bottom Feeders Bracket/Futile Four 2010
Since there's strong feelings for Football stadiums, I'd like to place a bid for next year at the Rose Bowl.
While it's in the middle of a large metro area, and arguably, one of the easiest places to get to by plane, it's probably the area that has some of the least interest in College Hockey, and I'm sure that the natural turf will cause havoc in making ice- let alone the sun. May have to have some cure for heat stroke. For resurfacing, they can turn the chillers off with 1-2 min left in the period, let the top melt, and then re-freeze. I'm sure the teams wont notice.
But the best part will be the dozen or so spectators, since they have to be there to keep the grounds clean.
BTW, how's the ice up in Moscow?
(my brother actually helped build that rink....)
