So I deleted any bump post I made to any RPI thread. As folks wake up hopefully the normal rate of posting will eventually clean up the first page. Thanks for jumping in.RPI Engineers

Not an argument against the coach by any means, just a correction... that is unless you were including the regular season championship they would have won in 2011 as Freshmen. Can't we all just get along?
Always remember... This is just a game we're talking about here. Let's not take it all too seriously.

These last few seasons must be so frustrating for NU fans due in large part to injuries and resulting less talented teams, but if my team is going to have as bad a record as either of these two, I'd prefer it be because we know full well they're not talented or equipped to win very often. Even given the injuries, I contend that the Tigers have the ability to win but just didn't. Even when they lose they show flashes, periods, even entire games where they out-possess and even out-shoot the opponent by considerable margins but don't get rewarded for it.Can't we all just get along?

Re: >>> RIT Tigers 2016-17: That was fun; let's go for three!
For those complaining about goalie's, I think Coach knew it was not in good shape. 2 guys coming in next year:
Ian Andriano - Ottawa Jr. Senators CCHL - 2016/17 - 49 gp, 2.35 GAA, .913 Save %
Logan Drackett - Calgary Canucks AJHL - 2016/17 - 48 gp, 2.35 GAA, .918 Save %
For comparison, Rotolo + Short last year of juniors:
Rotolo - Green Bay Gamblers USHL - 12/13 - 25 gp, 2.85 GAA, .901 Save %
- Cedar Rapid Rough Riders USHL - 12/13 - 16 gp, 2.69 GAA, .905 Save %
Short - Surrey Eagles BCHL - 14/15 - 32 gp, 4.02 GAA, .897 Save %
Needless to say these 2 guys have similar to each other and better stats than Rotolo and Short in last year of Juniors, so hopefully they will be better As you can see looking at these stats, there's probably a reason Rotolo played over Short.
For my own humor... looked up Madolora.. and these guys have comparable stats to him:
Madolora - Omaha Lancers USHL - 07/08 - 20 GP, 2.41 GAA, .914 Save %Last edited by Zyklon; 03-11-2017, 05:23 PM.

Originally posted by StimulisRK View PostWith near identical stats, and both being freshman, hopefully that'll push each of them to outperform the other for the starting job. Should be an interesting 1st half of the season next year.
Drackett was named AJHL goalie of the year, and was a finalist for league MVP. Here's the announcement from the league:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Top Goaltender - Friends of AJHL Trophy
Calgary Canucks goaltender Logan Drackett is the 2016-2017 Top Goaltender and recipient of the Friends of AJHL Trophy. The Top Goaltender Award is presented to the goalie who demonstrated the greatest ability in his position throughout the season.
The 19 year-old goalie was a finalist for both the 2016-2017 AJHL Most Valuable Player Award and the AJHL Top Goaltender Award. Drackett is among the Top 5 AJHL Goaltenders with a 2.41 GAA and .917 save percentage. He has also recorded the third most shutouts (5), second most wins (28), and the second most minutes played (2,669) among all AJHL goaltenders.
Drackett (Calgary, AB) represented the AJHL at the 2016 World Junior A Challenge as a member of Team Canada West. He was a three-time recipient of the Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Defensive Player of the Week Award in 2016-2017. Logan has also been recognized as the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game eight times in the regular season.
Logan Drackett was a finalist for the 2015-2016 Top Goaltender Award in his rookie season with the Canucks and was selected to both the 2015-2016 South Division All-Rookie Team and All-League Team.John Nabors
