I used to think the year 2000 was so, so long ago...
In other news, this is what was going on in 2003:
-Brad Johnson wins the super bowl
-Lance Armstrong wins his fifth Tour De France
-Nate Hagemo played for the US U18 team and Tyler Hirsch was starting his freshman season for the golden gophers
-Keiko the Orca made famous by the "Free Willy" movies, dies
-A white tiger attacks Roy Horn of the duo "Siegfried & Roy" leaving him partially paralyzed
-Michael Jackson is booked on suspicion of multiple counts of child molestation
-Finding Nemo came out
-Goofers won their 5th national championship in D1 hockey
-The US lead the invasion of Iraq
-Limp Bizkit, blink-182, and Nelly were at the top of the charts.
-University of North Dakota only had 7 Division 1 national championships in hockey
Jeebus, that was a long time ago... well, it's fun to reminisce about old times I guess.Comment
