I have also read that his first season $925,000 is up front as well as other bonuses. BTW, all NHL rookies make that same rate, which is the league mandatory minimum.

Congrats to Alex Lyon for first team East All-American and to Rob O'Gara for second team. Ironically second team East All-American Thatcher Demko beat out Lyon for the Richter award.

Now back to our regular programming (smile on face). Stu Wilson played his first pro game last night on an ATO with the AHL Rochester Amerks. http://www.democratandchronicle.com/...lson/82845158/

Alex Lyon listed as a healthy scratch for the Philadelphia Flyers tonight. This burns a year off his two year entry Level contract. Strange move by the Flyers who have some goalie injury issues.

If you are talking about the Richter, they actually had a recount.

Happy Birthday to Jeff Malcolm, hero on this day three years ago. Jeff is also recovering from an injury incurred in the AHL last week, all the best to him.

O'Gara should be in Bridgeport on Sunday against the sound tigers. Both teams have qualified for the playoffs and may meet again.
