Does the UND tie change anything? Does that serve as a win or a loss for UND? 'Cuz I was under the impression that an SCSU loss and a UND loss meant SCSU held above UND, an SCSU loss and a UND win meant UND jumped them. Do we still need to win to hold ground or are we now locked ahead of UND?
tUMD is Jan Brady per Brenthoven. Whew.... thanks for clearing THAT up.

I believe UND tie was as good as a win. UND sits at #3, but will jump either SCSU or Quinnipiac (or both) if either (or both) lose.

I'd personally much rather see Providence in Albany since I'll be there in person and have seen enough modern incarnations of QU. I'm not so sure attendance will be better for them there though.

This is the most sound bracket... only because switching up those is just too much of a jumble in terms of national rankings and in distances.

Trust me, I'm not terribly interested in Yale then possibly QU.

That would certainly give Quinnipiac the path of least resistance to the Frozen Four, and that Cincinnati regional looks absolutely brutal. Whoever advances out of that one will have truly earned it. My Frozen Four prediction (if the final bracket actually looks like this) would be Quinnipiac, BU, Michigan, and Providence.
National championships won by Big Ten schools : 23 (Michigan 9, Wisconsin 6, Minnesota 5, Michigan State 3, Ohio State 0, Penn State 0, Notre Dame 0)
              National championships won by NCHC schools : 21 (North Dakota 8, Denver 8, MN-Duluth 3, Colorado College 2, St. Cloud State 0, Miami 0, NE-Omaha 0, Western Michigan 0)

              23 > 21

C'mon Patman -- we've only got five players left from the 2013 team. Let's meet up in Albany. I'm buying.

Yale probably does not want to see UML either in the first round, going west has some advantage for Yale as they have not played anyone out there and may surprise. a team. Looking at Wodon's bracket, there are not a lot of other choices to make.

Question as a BU fan. By your location I am assuming you are a North Dakota fan. Why to you think BU gets past 2 NCHC teams, #2 and #6 in both PWR and KRACH?

                        Absolutely.

I'm not worried about Yale, per se. There's just no "sexiness" to it. I've been interested in our opening round opponents generally to this point... Miami, Wisconsin, Mankato... I dunno.
