On Sunday, the Fairbanks Ice Dogs defeated the Minnesota Wilderness 5-2. The won the best-of-5 series 3-2. Todd Burgess scored 2 goals. 4 SOGs. http://nahl.stats.pointstreak.com/bo...gameid=2884639

Burgess's playoff line is now 9-5-8-13-6.
    His total is 69-43-65-108-48.

None of the goals have assists listed. There definitely were assists since Minnesota has been tweeting and included assists, but only for their goals. I will post an update if TB has one or more assists. Since Ryner Gorowsky, a linemate, had a goal, it is likely.

The NAHL semifinals (best-of-3) start on Thursday. The one-game final is on 5/15. I assume that Fairbanks with the league's best record is the #1 seed. By my calculations, they will play either the Aston Rebels or the Austin Bruins, depending upon the result of Monday's Bismarck-Austin game 5. The games will be played in Edina, MN, and the schedule has been up since before the playoffs started. http://nahl.stats.pointstreak.com/le...seasonid=15481

Edit: Fairbanks has now been entered as the #1 seed.

None of the goals have assists listed. There definitely were assists since Minnesota has been tweeting and included assists, but only for their goals. I will post an update if TB has one or more assists. Since Ryner Gorowsky, a linemate, had a goal, it is likely.
            No assists.

The ENG was on a power play.

TB seems not to have played on a line with his usual linemates.

And the 3 Stars were all given to the home team.

Entered today in the on-line directory:

              Name: Todd David Burgess
              Class: First-Year Student
              Curriculum: Business and Management

He is the third recruit there. Manley was entered last year and Polino recently.

Edit: Tryouts for the Atlantic Division representatives (Bendorf) will be next weekend. http://www.atlantic-district.org/playerdev.php
That's nice to see for both. Both are getting a lot of attention (good news/bad news).
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

We don't know about Bendorf. Sorry if I implied anything. I assume that he will be invited since he was at the Select 16 last year and was tied for the second highest scorer. http://playerdevelopmentcamps.usahoc...s&tool=1465783

Edit: Modry was also at the Select 16 last year and had 3 assists in 5 games.

Bismarck won, so Fairbanks plays Aston starting Thursday.

At the Estevan Bruin's banquet, Charlie Manley (not in attendance), was named cowinner of the team's best defenseman award and the most underrated player award. I really like that he won that second award. At the moment there are only a set of pictures on the team's Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/estevanbruins.

#18 Zach Douglas and #5 Charlie Manley

The Bruins also said goodbye to 10 players graduating from the SJHL. Owen LaClare, Jason Duret, Daniel Wapple, Keaton Longpre, Tyler King, Keegan Allison, Zach Douglas, and Tyson Predinchuk are all graduating from their 20 year old seasons while defenseman Charlie Manley is heading to the RPI Engineers in NCAA Division 1 Hockey next year.

I really hope that they are correct about "WIth this player stats do not begin to tell the whole story., etc." when he plays in the ECAC.
