Should Fbks. (or any Team) have to go 3 in the series, that would be 4 games in 4 days. That’s a lot of hockey. I would think winning in 2 would be very beneficial. Also, consider the NAHL started playing exh. games in early Sept. Nine months of games. I was spent playing in my League mid-Jan (started Oct.10 ended Mar.10)

And they could go to multiple OTs.
If both games go 3 games, Fairbanks will have the slight advantage of playing the earlier games.

BTW, they are a lot younger than you.

Fairbanks does get an off day.
Sunday will end this year’s recruit games unless we suddenly get a recruit who is still playing (e.g., in the RBC).
Besides for the ENG today, all four Fairbanks goals in the series were scored by Reggie Lutz. Aston was probably concentrating on stopping Burgess's line.

Better quality on the highlight video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4X1JRmQt2Y but a bit hard to pick Todd Burgess out. The celebration starts at about 4:30. TB is one of the last ones to join.

For the record, Viktor Liljegren scored two goals. Neither TB nor Lonnie Clary had any points. Box score http://nahl.stats.pointstreak.com/bo...gameid=2440507 TB is the only one still on the team who played in that game although Ryner Gorowsky's brother played for Fairbanks two years ago. Evan Somoza's brother was on the roster but did not play.
