GCI's infrastructure for moving video between fairbanks and anchorage is being upgraded, but we found last night that the existing gear seems to be broken. The solution for tonight is an HD cable box converting the signal. Wheeeee
The Alaska Airlines Governors cup is where it belongs.

      Trolls will troll.

Point was ACC had no offense. Only goal came from a gift. Good for Jacky, but you need offense to win games.

Retire with dignity while you can.

3 out of 4...works for me.

Looking forward to a war in Fairbanks in March.

Welp, that's 7 years in a row. Maybe we'll win it sometime before the program is cut.

Our offense is one dimensional and was quickly snuffed out. Without any leadership to get things together it all falls apart. The team needs a serious kick in the *.

It ain't over. Remember, you won the first two in our barn last year.

You also just described the Nanooks in the month prior to this weekend.

Except last year was an epic choke job by UAA and a UAF team that had one thing to play for.

I seriously doubt our ability to sweep in Fairbanks, especially since UAA had a serious lack of urgency in the 3rd period both nights this weekend. It'd be a miracle turn around.

Also our offense tries to win on talent, and we don't have enough talent to win on talent alone.

Home ice has been useless in the last 8 games of this series. We owned you in Fairbanks for the last several years of Shyiak's regime, and Thomas got over that hurdle in a hurry. There's a lot of season left to be played.

To that note, I wonder if we've ever gone unbeaten in four straight games against UAA at Sully. I know when we swept there last year it was the first time since, I believe, the 1980's.

Any UAA fans know how Nicholas Erb-Eckholm is? Looked like he may have a concussion from the hit to the head. He was really woozy when he went to the bench, the trainer laid him on the bench, and soon after he headed to the locker room. At least he has a few weeks off before UAA plays again, and they play at the Sully so there is no travel involved. Best wishes and prayers for his speedy recovery.

"According to NCAA, the (UAF) hockey team used ineligible players in every game played from the 2007-08 season to the 2010-11 season. Over that span, the wins and ties will all become losses. 4 wins and 2 ties came against rival UAA".

                  UAF is 56-86-12 vs. UAA.

Good game Nooks, some day UAA will figure out you recruit speed. It's obvious we haven't so far.
If I had a cool pic or saying it would go here.

Yup, we're a team built to play on 200x85 playing on 200x100.

He has a concussion no doubt. He was out of it after that hit.

Five game unbeaten streak at the Sullivan going back to December of 2013. And the first tie in the series since December 31, 2007!

UAF made the kind of hockey history on October 10th 2015 that no team wants to claim – the Nanooks became the first NCAA Division I victim of Arizona State.
