    Cornell over Brown, 1-0
    Yale over Colgate, 3-1
Phinney was part of that Delbarton HS team with Melanson and Baiocco. We have had some success against him at Princeton but you have to get to him early. Once he settles in and the game moves on, he gets into a rhythm and is difficult to beat. But he can be shaky early.
Take the shortest distance to the puck and arrive in ill humor

Dr D, that looks like his pattern. He gave up 4 to SLU and his coach pulled him. After tonight's shutout, he's 2-6, 2.20, .943

...meaning we are tied for the top of the ECAC with an even number of games. UNH is towards the bottom, albeit with plenty of games in hand, so they're "near the middle". RPI better come out guns-a-blazin', or else we might see the opposite of the SCSU weekend from 2012-13.

BTW, any UNH fans traveling to the game: RPI decided to go all TSA at hockey games now, so prepare to be molested as you walk in.

So I'm guessing you will set a record for exiting and re-entering.

Great feed from RPI. Stupid penalty by Eiserman after fanning on a rebound. Ugh

RPI was skating easily through the neutral zone in the early going, still enjoying a lot of attack zone time with the forecheck, and UNH is struggling to get the puck out of their own end. Just ugly so far by UNH, and only Nazarian has shown me any flashes so far.

Midway into the first period, UNH frankly fortunate to only be down 1-0.

UNH finally showing some signs of life - may have been the senior line? - but couldn't finish in close. Eiserman takes a dumb penalty.

Decent pressure and several chances in the latter half of the 1st, but nothing to show. Pots had a shorty bid stoned.

We just never truly look in control. We can't seem to "slow the game down"... Seems frantic.

It's the most unbalanced UNH team I've seen in the Umile era. Literally a one-line team.

Misleading stat of the evening: SOG's after one, RPI 11 UNH 10.

Almost exactly the same description applies to the first period that I just watched at Agganis. :-(
