Re: Frozen Four Tickets - Priority Purchase Process
Not sure what to make of this but it seems that you can get priority seating ahead of time bypassing the lottery if you opt for the fan experience. Has this been the case in the past too or is it something new starting in Buffalo 2019? https://www.primesport.com/d/ncaa-me...aa_frozen_four

Re: Frozen Four Tickets - Priority Purchase Process
I was asked to repost this here:
My wife and I each received an email from the NCAA offering the opportunity to purchase tickets in a presale before they go on sale to the general public. The presale will end on 27 November at 11:59 pm or when all tickets are sold. I believe that they got our emails emails from the annual raffle the NCAA holds for tickets to the next FF, so they are still marketing FF tickets to the college hockey fan base.

And thanks to Chris Lerch for setting up the Sticky. This is how a community like USCHO should work -- members having each other's backs. Your Sticky has facilitated this, as we've just seen. Again, thanks.

This number has been widely advertised both on the NCAA website and in e-mails sent to existing account holders. Just posting it here for convenience sake.

With luck, BobF can tell us how it worked out. But failing that, it certainly couldn't hurt to call Customer Service.

I, as the priority holder, am unreliable after pre-game festivities.

Re: Frozen Four Tickets - Priority Purchase Process
Originally posted by pgb-ohio View Post6. At check-out, you will be offered a "Flash Seats" option. Be prepared; have your decision made in advance. With Flash Seats, you don't receive paper tickets. Nor can you print your tickets at home. You'll use your credit card to gain admission at the arena. If your priority holder is reliable, and you're sure everyone will be arriving at the Arena together, this sounds like a great way to save the $10 shipping/handling fee. But if either of those requirements is in doubt, you may want to stick with the traditional paper tickets. Not questioning anyone's reliability; just sayin'.

Re: Frozen Four Tickets - Priority Purchase Process
Just to clarify, I got two emails. One when the process started back in September (pgb linked to it a few posts back), and another the day before my window opened. If you didn't get either, in addition to checking with the NCAA to ensure they have your current email address (call the number listed a few posts back), check your "spam" folder, or if you use gmail on Firefox your "all mail" folder (that's where I found it on my laptop; it's not necessarily in your "Inbox") or your "promotions" folder if you use gmail on Chrome (that's where I found it in my tablet). I think that if a single sender sends out an email to many addressees, some email algorithms assume that it's commercial email or spam.

Same here. I have a priority number of 7 and never got an email.

A copy of the e-mail is reproduced in the first post of this thread:

Though quite honestly the link in Chris Lerch's post (#1 on this thread) contains almost the exact same information.
Or, if all else fails, just call the Customer Service Number 866-208-0048. Over the years most have reported good results from this line.
To reply to your specific concern: Yes, it would appear they don't have your current e-mail. I'd call Customer Service to update that. Further, I'd do it at your earliest convenience, rather than waiting for the Priority 1 window to open.
One last thought: You might want to call on a Tuesday or Thursday. In other words, on days when there's NOT a new window opening. My guess is that the call volume spikes each time a new window opens.
Best of luck!Last edited by pgb-ohio; 10-09-2015, 12:14 AM.

Re: Frozen Four Tickets - Priority Purchase Process
Question for the regulars: Did you receive an e-mail/some kind of notice of when you could apply? My priority is low; but, I haven't received anything the last couple of years (only previously attended 2006). Honestly, I can't remember if I was using a different e-mail at the time (I don't think so…).
