Re: Places I've Seen a College Hockey Game

I think I'd have to look up some records to figure out teams I've seen play, and I have no idea how accurate I'd be just trying to remember.

Everywhere I've seen a college hockey game:

    Home rinks
    B1G
    Michigan - Yost
    Michigan State - Munn
    Ohio State - Schottenstein Center
    Wisconsin - Kohl Center
    Minnesota - Mariucci
    Penn State - Pegula
    WCHA
Bowling Green - BGSU Ice Arena
    Ferris State - Ewigleben
Lake Superior State - Taffey Abel
Northern Michigan - Berry Events Center
    Alaska - Carlson Center
Michigan Tech - MacInnes Student Ice Arena
    Alaska Anchorage - Sullivan Arena
    Minnesota State - Verizon
Bemidji State - John Glas Fieldhouse
    NHC
    Western Michigan - Lawson
    Nebraska Omaha - Qwest Center
Miami - Goggin the old one and the new one
St Cloud State - Herb Brooks National hockey center
    North Dakota - Ralph
I have also been to Denver's rink, but saw college hockey fans playing, not an actual college game
    Hockey East
Notre Dame - Joyce Center & Compton Family Ice Arena
    Boston University - Agganis
    Boston College - Conte Forum
    UMass- Lowell - Tsongas
    New Hampshire - Whittemore Center
    Atlantic Hockey
Mercyhurst - Mercyhurst College Ice Center
    RIT - Ritter
    ECAC
    RPI - Houston Fieldhouse
    Union - Achilles Rink

    D3
    Adrian - Arrington Ice Arena

Outdoors & places inappropriate for hockey viewing
Michigan Stadium - Ann Arbor, MI
Spartan Stadium - East Lansing, MI
    Ford Field - Detroit, MI
    Camp Randall - Madison, WI
    Progressive Field - Cleveland, MI

    Neutral Sites
Joe Louis Arena - Detroit, MI
Van Andel Arena - Grand Rapids, MI
The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills, MI
    Pepsi Center - Denver, CO
Xcel Energy Center - St. Paul, MN
Consol Energy Center - Pittsburgh, PA
Wells Fargo Center - Philadelphia, PA
ScottTrade Center - St. Louis, MO
    HSBC Arena - Buffalo, NY
War Memorial Coliseum - Fort Wayne, IN
    Verizon Center - Washington D.C.
Resch Center - Green Bay, WI
Times Union Center - Albany, NY
Arena at Harbor Yard - Bridgeport, CT

51 "rinks" in my 15 years of hockey fandom. I may have an addiction.

    Hm, let me see:

    CHA buildings:
UAH - Von Braun Center (obviously)
UAH - Benton H. Wilcoxon Iceplex (unfortunately)
USAFA - Cadet Ice Arena (that press box climb is fun!)
Wayne State — Great Lakes City Sports Arena — I think that it was here in 2001 where I gathered a bus of UAH students who ended up comprising the majority of the weekend's crowd
Wayne State — Michigan State Fairgrounds
Wayne State — some other dump (RIP TARTARS)
Niagara —*Dwyer Arena (also for a few CHA championship tournaments)

    Non-conference:
    Wisconsin —*Kohl Center
    Denver —*Magness Arena
    Minnesota —*Mariucci Arena
Sacred Heart — Milford Ice Pavilion (I felt so bad for those kids)
Northern Michigan — Berry Events Center
    Notre Dame —*Joyce Center

I've also seen CHA tournament games in Kearney, Neb., as well as NCAA regional games in Grand Rapids and Fort Wayne. I haven't traveled since the CHA folded.

I somehow never made it to the John Glas Fieldhouse in Brrrrrrmidji, and I never saw a game at the Clauss Ice Arena in Findlay.
