Another season mercifully comes to a close! On to next year.

...and now we catch Kasdorf out of his net on a penalty kill with the puck sitting in front of the wide open net. Bird couldn't get a stick on it. Ugh!

Sam Lafferty has had two breakaway chances in which he beat Kasdorf with nifty moves, but hit the post. Frustrating, to say the least. This game could have been put away by now.

I just noted this: All-Ivy Selections Lappin & Gottlieb 1st Team and Naclerio 2d Team

Yep. It's too bad the ref wasn't in position to see it on the ice, because he likely would've called it a goal and they wouldn't have had to review. Oh well. On to Game 2!

Thanks! After seeing that, I totally agree with what the radio guys were saying. There's no chance the puck didn't go in, but you can't tell conclusively on the replay, so it's impossible to overturn the call on the ice.

Just got back from the game. Your comments are right on the money. Don't understand what happened to team in second period.

We dominate the first few minutes. Then we let in a soft goal. The sky is blue.

I'm not sure if I'll shell out the $10 tonight. I might and wait to see if Brown wins, and then tune in tomorrow.
EC$$ Hockey is also the ones that mandated a very specific video review setup according to their regulations, run completely by them. Consider yourselves at least thrice (because there are at least two games in the series) hosed by EC$$ Hockey this season.

The real bummer is that it costs $10 to stream through the ECAC. That's unbelievable. The price of admission to the actual game isn't much more than that.
