Your right. I missed the AHA. I haven't found a scenario getting 5 in.

Yep. We need to get to at least 14 with a Dartmouth win (because of the AH auto).

Pretty cool though that you found one with 5 in the top 16. I assumed that a Dartmouth or SLU win would have them well outside the top 16 (but in on an auto).

I don't think getting to 14 is possible at all. I think the Big Red's biggest fanz this weekend are Quinnipiac, Michigan, and anyone but Minnesota Duluth.

My math was wrong. I didn't factor in the AHA champion. They take the 16 spot bumping a 5th ECAC team. I don't think the ECAC can get 5 in.

Q definitely helps us the most, since we have the five games against them. Harvard is next best (stops to wipe vomit from mouth) because it CANNOT be the other two.

Independent of partisan interest, I'd personally like to see Q get the overall 1 seed. For one thing, it's always good when ECAC teams excel. For another, it's an easier path to the national title (except of course we'll interrupt it, yadda yadda), and Q has a ton of high profile guys who might bolt after a national title. Don't stop thinking about tomorrow.

Pretty mundane outside the league tourney, gets Cornell in at 15 and Dartmouth at 14.

Dartmouth lost both games to Quinnipiac this season. The Big Green led the second contest, 5-2, with fewer than 15 minutes remaining on Jan. 29, but lost, 7-5. ...

Although Dartmouth’s focus is now squarely on Quinnipiac, an ECAC tournament title and the chance to reach the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1980. That is 36 years ....

Dartmouth (Hanover) is only 137 miles from Lake Placid. SLU (Canton) is only 83 miles.

Dartmouth has NEVER won an ECAC Tournament (Whitelaw Cup)(I think). Neither has Qpack.

If either SLU or Dartmouth wins, we could see 4 teams in the tournament. That would be a first.

Harvard, Yale and Qpack are all improved over last year ..... if they are spread out over different regions, no reason not to be in the F4 together, in Tampa.

There was a concerted effort by some posters here via email to get some channels added for the semis, unless you have an antenna, you can't watch the semis on tv in CT, my daughter in Nashville can though. SNY is the NY/CT tv broadcast for the finals. Hockey East semis and finals are on BOTH NBCSN and NESN, that's the way it should be done!
