Why? That's a good draw. BC is not beating us. You can't send them West because there are too many teams from the West this year. They need the East teams to stay here for the attendance.

Right. But the problem is the banding. PC will be in Providence (are they hosting, or is it Brown?) and they probably figure that will be the draw. Miami will have to go to Providence because they're a #1 and they can't go anywhere else. BU can't go where Miami does because they're a #1 seed as well. So BC HAS to go with either BU or Providence.

I'm just trying to put myself in their heads. The only "home" team would be PC in Providence. So why put BC or BU there? Manchester will be the ghost town. No UNH, no Maine. Who's going to draw there? The only two #3 seeds from the East are Harvard and BC. You almost have to put both BU and BC there, because the other two teams are from the West and Harvard won't draw no matter where they go.

It's not a conspiracy...you CAN'T send PC West? Are you kidding? Forget host...look at the standings (PWR). Only SIX of the 16 teams are from the East. You're going to send teams from the West that are ranked higher East??? Attendance is a legitimate consideration when they do the brackets. It's just the way it is. I was at the Centrum, too. But jeez that was nine years ago. This team is NOT losing to BC!!!

Tonight was like football at times. I'd rather play a team from the East that we are familiar with than a team from the West who is going to try to beat our heads in.

I also think if they were so worried about attendance across the board that they would split the two because of all the eastern teams, they would draw the biggest crowds. They're (presumably) not. There are TWO baskets. All they need in Providence is Providence. The other basket is ManchVegas. They need BOTH BU and BC because (here we go again), although both schools have very loyal, vocal and dedicated die-hard fans, they don't have BIG numbers. They just don't..regardless of what you think. I'm saying "relative" to the big state schools. If UNH were there they would bring 4 times what we bring. They need BOTH BU and BC there or the place will be half empty.
