If they really show up, they can beat anyone, anytime, anywhere. They just haven't shown up this season. The D CAN be good enough to make a long run to the Joe with Hunwick in net for two weels. But, again, this season, they haven't shown it.

Still makes me shake my head- for the most part, the entire D is the same as last season. And the defensive forwards are back.

I'm just going to have to accept not knowing what happened, and move on.

And I'll take this opportunity to make sure that you all remember the posters game at Yost, April 10, noon.

Did we ever close out the 2007-2008 season thread? Maybe we can bump it in a couple weeks and see what happens next year.

    + a bunch.

Our last "sweep" was against Bowling Green, with a loss to Wisconsin inbetween. Before that, Western (I don't count a SH loss a sweep), And before that, Lake State.

So only twice vs. the same team, in one weekend, have we won both games. That's pretty pathetic.

I seriously have my doubts that we need to make reservations in East Lansing....

I can't say with a straight face that Michigan can put two or three solid games together. Haven't done it all season. To think they can do it at Munn, with presumably a backup netminder, is ludicrous.

Beating State in the playoffs isn't that hard, NMU's done it twice in a row.

Just take them to OT in game 3.

Some very dangerous teams (Michigan, UNO, Alaska) that could shake up the playoffs quite a bit.

    IMHO, that's being rather generous.

yes, they have the talent to do something. We just don't know what that something is....
