        with the right members, it would be fine. old & close rivalries, what's not to like?
        but it would set off a chain-reaction reaming of a bunch of other conferences, so best not to go there. ;-)

              The NC$$ regionals are not even on ESPN. I believe only the National title game is.

                Apparently the 3 MAC teams aren't big enough national draw to override ESPNs other programming. Then again, no college hockey is.

                        Most regionals are on ESPNU. The semis and final are on ESPN2 or ESPN.

                          Actually, 8 of the 12 games were live on ESPNU last year. The other 4 were live on ESPN360. The Frozen Four is on ESPN2 and the Championship game is ESPN.

                              Big ten just doesn't have anything else to show on Fridays, otherwise it would be men's/women's basketball like the other 6 days a week.
