    Very shocking about slovakia. switzerland looked god awful in the two games that I saw and barely beat Latvia. Russia will gladly take them in the crossover game. 'States better hope for a win tonight to get that bye, I don't know if they can beat Suomi.

        Swiss win 4-1. Not that surprising to me. Watching the US play both teams, it seemed like Switzerland was better. If I was the Russians, I wouldn't be completely thrilled with getting to play Switzerland. Conz could frustrate the hell out of the Commies. Maybe I'm crazy though.

          No not crazy at all cause a hot goalie can make or break you in this tourney. Look what happened to the U.S. team last year. They peppered that Slovak goalie but simply couldn't get anything past him. So who knows, we may have our first upset this year during the Swiss-Russia match up.

            1-0 Russia at the end of the first period.

            I'll take Finland in a quarterfinal. Thats a team we probably should beat 75 percent of the time. Of course after last year's debacle, nothings guaranteed.

              I don't think the most important question has been asked yet. Who has the name of the tournament? Switzerland's Nino Niederreiter seems like a pretty good one along with Finland's Eero Elo.
